There are countless shoe collaborations released every month. The new IRAK NY x Adidas RMX Equipment Sport Runner caught my eye so much that I headed down to Alife Rivington Club in LES to get a pair of the 2007 before they sold out.
I definitely like the flashier 2007 edition (I wish they had neon blue laces). The 2008 are also flashy but the large amount black (esp. in the heel) makes them look understated when compared to the 2007. Apparently the original idea was to release the two versions further apart, but the 2007 version was released late December and the other in the first week of January.
Though I'm not super crazy about any other stuff IRAK has on their website, these sick shoes more than make up for the other typical "graffiti cheese" gear. However, they did just release a new line of t-shirt designs that look promising. I might have to stop by Alife again to pick up a shirt to go with my kicks.
